Well I think I had my exhaust dumped just after the cats for about 1.5 years. Now in school its a 2 hour drive to home and at 60 mph for 2 hours is just pushing it. So I went to the local exhaust shop yesterday to see how much it would cost to have them bend up some pipe so it exits just in front of the rear tire. Here is what they came up with. Pretty happy for only $100. It now is a little quieter on the out side but is a lot quieter on the inside.

Will try to get some video but can't make any promises.

what kind of exhaust is that

Its just the stock, then after the rear two cats I had the muffler shop bend up some tubing to exit like that.

I have a 98 ex 5.0 and I had the muffler shop install a flowsound muffler right after rear cats and install a 8" wide rectangular tip in front of the rear wheel and under the running board. I love the sound!!! It is loud enough to get attention but not deafening.

you could of just bought pipe at autozone and done that yourself for 30 dollars max

Yeah I could have but then I would of either had a bunch of clamp or a bunch of welds. I didn't want any leaks so I paid the shop to bend all of it up so there is only two welds. Those two welds are to the flange that bolts up to the cats.

Hi gang, long time since my last post. Have been going through an extended layoff and didn't have much to say.

Had to replace my muffler/tailpipe back on December 21st. The muffler finally gave up and split a seam after only 147K miles! I went back with the same dual 2 1/4" inlet, single 3" outlet Magnaflow turbo muffler and a new custom bent 3" SS pipe out the right rear. The old pipe was aluminized steel but it was starting to rust through in a couple of places.
