2008 XLT
Hello all..
Long time lurker on the forums, finally registered and made it offical. Its been awhile since I have been on a forum. Started with a Lincoln LS, on the LLSOC website, then when to a Lincoln Aviator. After the aviator was gone the family needed a SUV again. Found a 2008 XLT with around 43xxx miles. Got it for around 15k..
I have done a few things to it, Exterior upgrades, Kenwood DNX with Sat, Nav, and Back up camera. Kind of funny... Wife and two young kids now and usually not much time, but I seem to find it here and there.
Any who...here are a couple of pictures.

Excellent pics of the XLT, I like how the mods turned out.

Are those 20's (give us wheel/tire specs please)?

Thanks for the comments..
The Explorer is the 4x4 version....During the winters the regular rim/tire combo goes back on...
The current rim/tire combo is 22" BSA with Hankook 265-40-22. The rim is 8.5 inches wide and I have no problems with them.
I also just put the finishing touches on the "new to me" Kenwood DNX7100. I added the KCA-ip300v ipod cable. This allows me to control an ipod from the head unit, Im even able to play the movies on the ipod direct on the head unit. Wife loves the sirius...and I dont think she will listen to anything else.
Anybody looking to replace their current radio with a New double din or the alike I had to do alot of reserach regarding fords can-bus system. As it turns out if you have the regular MP3 radio you DONT have to buy the can-bus interface. You only have to buy the $6.00 dollar wire harness.
