are the Gabriel Pro Guard Shocks any good or should i spring for the Rancho RS5000

I only have experience with one of those shocks but I really do like my RS5000s. The way I considered it, shocks last a relatively long time. How much would you spend per year to have a good set of shocks? Lie to yourself like I do and consider it an investment, lol.

I'm going with the ranchos, about to buy actually. Best price i found is $184 set of 4 shipped on ebay.

I paid more than that AND missed the rebate. Sucks, but no regrets. These are good shocks. I just didn't do my homework.

for rs5000's try 4wheelonline.com, they usually sell them for around 159.00 for a set of four shipped. theyre not bilsteins or foxshox, but for the price i love them. they ride great off road and on, not to mention they look great:
