What I want to do:

-Either remove running boards or put some black westin nerf bars on? (Thoughts)
-Get the gray trim painted black trim? (Thoughts)
-Get cross bars and a roof rack
-I can't get a lift but I want to maximize the tire size, how big can I go with stock? (Thoughts)

Let me know what you guys think!

What all is on your hatch that needs to be covered up and the tire issue, look at the sticky that issue has been spoken on many many times.

I'd say do a couple searches then decide yourself. It is your x and you choose what gets done to it. A couple minutes of searching netted me this picture

So do the same for steps. Ronin and a couple others have built thier own

Absolutely love the Ford branded fogs sir.

Just picked this 2004 XLT up 2 weeks ago after rolling my 94 Cherokee. First order of business was getting some new shoes so I put on 265/75/16 Duratracs. Other than that I installed a single din headunit. Up next will be upper and lower black billet grills, black headlights and corners, black tails, fold down dvd player/screen, homemade roof rack and paint rims black to hold me over until I get some Crager/ Pro Comp rims and possibly a spacer lift.

Do you have any type of lift on that?

Took the Ex own to the beach on Sunday for the first time, definatly a steep learning curve.
It's bog stock at the moment but I do have the rancho system sitting in the garage just waiting to go in and a solid state clutch to replace the failing one that's still in it due to spending money on things like fishing rods instead of my car...

Looks good with those clear corners. Did you put those fender blinker lights on or did it come with them?

Looking at the plates, I'm gonna guess he's outside of the US where the blinkers come standard.

You guys are all pretty switched on around here haha. Yeah how she sits its how I got her, should be a different beast in 6months though.

Nah just when you get the pleasure of looking at these trucks all the time you notice the subtle differences.
