BUMP

Description from facebook in case you can't see the event:

Wheeling trip for all First Choice Fabrication customers, fans, family, and friends. Planning on starting in Montezuma near Keystone to cruise some high altitude roads before the snow comes (weather permitting). Will be coming out through Webster pass or Georgia pass on 285. Should be a lot of fun for stock 4x4s and built rigs alike. Come show off your rig, talk wheeling, and kick back. Meeting at the Dino lots in golden Sunday morning at 830 to convoy up to Montezuma. Bring any friends and family along.

WHEN: Sunday 9/20/2015 8:30AM
WHERE: WOLLY MAMMOTH LOT IN GOLDEN (the Park N Ride off I-70 exit 259- NW Corner)

Just got back in town, I'm in. Where is the Dino lot at?

Great day on the trail. Saw 3 moose. Hardly a cloud in the sky all day. Beautiful weather.

It was a great run today!

Nice pics.

So I got zero email notifications on this entire thread until today when pics were posted. That REALLY sucks as about the time the picture with the ski area in the background was taken (I'm guessing about the same time) I was at the town below that ski area having lunch. Went on a mini vaca to Snowmass/Aspen for a couple days, then to Silverthorne for a couple days. Came back by way of Loveland pass and even mentioned to my passenger about the trails that around Montezuma. Had I see the original posts I would have loved to have taken the EX instead of my car and joined up today. Gonna try and figure out my front end noise this week and get it fixed in time for trail clean up next weekend with FR4x4. 9 trucks so far to split between the two trails, 10 once I finally RSVP. Anybody else planning on that one?

That's interesting that you even got it then if you didn't get them from the start.

I subscribe to several different subforums- the CO one being one of them. I'm not set up for email notifications, I just see them when I go to my "control panel" and I see that there's a new message.

Can't say I didn't try. I posted it about a week out and bumped it several times.

I'm glad I got up into this area. It's been on my list for awhile. There's still a few more trails to check off though. Nice and easy too- some big rocks to avoid here and there but nothing overly technical to make your emotions go on a rollercoaster. Could have done without all the dust though

Is it Saturday? I'm busy. I voted for Sunday.
Yes it's on Saturday. Not sure why I wasnt getting notifications, I am subscribed to the Colorado Contingent sub. I'll just have to watch closer. Had an amazing 5 days in the convertible anyway, but that would have been a lot of fun. I may see you at the next RMO meeting though if you're there. Leila has been talking to me about it.
