Here are a couple pics of our 99 Sport. It has the 4.0 SOHC engine & the 5R55E trans, & 8.8 w/4.10's. The first is when we purchased it back in July of 2015.

Here is what it looks like now.

I have replace the hydraulic timing chain tensioners, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, serp belt & belt tensioner, thermostat, upper & lower radiator hoses, by pass hose, repaired the rusted out rocker panels, removed the rusted out side steps & replaced them with ones from a 06 reg cab Ranger, swapped out the leather seats to cloth seats, replaced the carpet, replaced both head lamp assemblies, serviced the trans, & replaced the torque converter clutch solenoid, trans mount, added vent visors, bug shield, a grille guard, removed the aftermarket radio & installed a Ford factory radio (am/fm cassette/single cd) so we could use the 6 disc CD changer in the console.

Looks great Mike. It's come a long way since July. I'll be looking for another '98-'00 Sport this spring. I have seller's remorse after letting both my 2nd Gens go in less than 24 hrs after Thanksgiving.

Thanks, good luck on your search.
