I had to take a pic and post when I turned 300K miles! This has become my everyday "work" vehicle, as I keep all my tools for working at our church Car Care ministry facility - since retirement I'm there most every day.

I bought this truck used with 28K miles on it; biggest repair had been the timing chain cover gasket replacement a few years ago.

What a great vehicle - and this is the best forum I have been a part of!

Ohhhhh I love seeing the Eddie Bauer models! Never see them in my area, only the normal XL, XLT (like me!) or maybe the Sport. Crap, I see the Limited models more than I do the Eddie Bauer. :/ Last time I saw an Eddie Bauer Explorer was 9 months ago heading to work and it stopped beside me at a stop light. Later after work, I pulled into a gas station later for a fill-up and that same Explorer was there. I sat there and talked with the owner, and it was a 1996 V8 and this thing had 278K miles on it! And the car was still in amazing shape.
