Hi guys im new to the forum , This is my 04 4.6EB. Im wanting to add the 3 inch body lift , Whats the average price? for a shop to install it , Im aware that i would need to use a rangers body lift the pa883 . Also my service engine soon light came on , My transmission is shifting good and it was rebuilt 5k miles ago , What could it be , Thank you in advance.
I did the body lift in my driveway with my dad, brother, and some jacks and jack stands.
took about 19 hours total because we wanted to make sure we did everything right. Get some mechanically inclined friends and some pizza and beer one weekend and you can definitley do it yourself. A shop would charge you something ridiculous.
As far as the light goes, the service engine light is for issues that are less severe and don't warrant a check engine light. Get the codes read and then go from there. Mine came on for a loose gas cap once and it's currently on because my EGR valve is bad. If it's driving fine, I wouldn't panic over it but definitely get the codes read just to be safe.
