BCM short to ground?

Hi I have a 2017 ford explorer xlt 3.5l 4wd with a short to ground and I suspect it's from the BCM , the trunk doesnt open and 4wd DTC...

Did any one know if the BCM they tend to make short to ground??.

Attached the screenshot, I use forscan to pull out the dtc , sings that I have are trunk gate not open and 4wd malfunction...plus when I take a test light and connect one end to the negative and touch the negative pole of battery the light came on , so I have a short to ground ...so I try to take 2 plugs from the bcm and the ligth goes out so I suspect the bcm board have a short but not sure if blame the wire harness or the bcm internal part harness looks fine no melted wires

It would seem that it is indicating a fault with the Rear Gate Module. Liftgate for 2017 Ford Explorer | Auto Nation Ford White Bear Lake
Have tried opening the liftgate from the inside panel?

Thanks for responding, ill try from the console button but not taking out the panels from the back if that's what you mean...

Where is located this module so I can check it out?

No idea where that module might be. I believe there is one small panel on the inside of the liftgate that can be removed so you can manually open it. Others have done it but I've never really checked it out.
