I know I just posted about bumper trim cracking, but now I noticed my grille too. It’s occurring in several different areas like this. Bizarre. Am I only the one so far with this too?

FYI- never had any impact damage

Was it new from the dealer? Maybe it was damaged in transit?

Yeah new from dealer back in November. I never noticed it before but also never looked for it. There’s no paint damage it’s just the grill and lower insert.

I took it in and they didn’t think it looked like impact damage but thought it looked like it had got scratched in several spots at some point. He submitted pics to ford but he said they may not cover it.

I had a similar issue where the dealer/Ford wouldn't cover a small concern I had. So, I contacted Ford customer service directly and explained what happened. After speaking with the agent at length, she contacted the dealer and arranged for Ford to reimburse them for any expenses. Granted, it only cost the dealer $100 but it's worth a try if they tell you they can't help. Their number is 800-392-3673. They ought to help since it's not something you did.

Thanks! I’ll give it a shot if it goes that way.

Cool. I was very surprised at how Ford jumped in and helped. They had a guy call a couple of times to follow up to make sure the dealer did what they said they would do.
