4 hi and 4 lo flashing

Changed my thermostat yesterday and after driving for a few hours today the 4hi and 4lo lights started flashing at the same time and when i went to go after stopping at a stop sign it reved as if it were in neutral then caught and started moving not sure what is going on and not at home where i can figure it out wondering if anyone has it happen to them before and any ideas on what to check before driving it home tomorrow afternoon

?what engine do you have?

I am thinking bad ground for system or disconnect wire near you where working in the engine compartment.
Do you ave a AWD system?
 












I think you need a new shift motor for the Borg Warner 4405 transfer case.

The newer style transfer case shift motors can not be fully disassembled anymore
like this older one.
