What is this?

Can anyone tell me what this is? When I took the engine cover off it was lying on top of the intake. I can't see any place it would connect to or any place the zip tie would attach. The valve on top appears to be some kind of check valve because I can suck through it but not blow. 2017 3.5 ecoboost. Thanks for any help.

Looks like the PTU vent line that goes to the top of the PTU.

It was probably left there by someone who forgot to put it back after refilling the PTU.

Do you have 5th gen Explorer or just the 2005 Explorer shown in your profile?
