i could have gotten almost any sub and i chose these- but that is just me and i have an informed opinion but also a different set of circumstances and goals with my system than others.
if i'd had more money i'd have gone with focal k38spl but i couldn't justify paying a little more than i paid for the mtx for anythign short of a couple of those (refering to RE x.., brahma, w7 etc whatever else although some are cheaper than mine) since i feel like these are best for me.

that space there between the boxes is so that i can put my skis in there.
during the summer it will be taken up by a box for an 8" and will have a large lcd screen mounted on it facing the rear so i can watch movies or play ps2 at shows.
amp rack is as simple as what you can see there- its just underneath everything. only the batteries will be visible with gold terminals and that color coded 0 gauge.
i have the subs mounted now- and am just waiting on the alt, the battery terminals for the auxiliary ones and a little bit of construction on my own part. If i had the terminals i could run it all right now, i'm just too lazy to hook it up right off the red top then have to redo it later.
the alt color is one of their options for Pcing not really translucent- we'll see what exactly it means later when i get it.
oh yeah- as soon as my computer comes back from the shop i'll have more pics
update- i'm much further along now, but i messed up my laptop. i should get it back yesterday according to them when i dropped it off- so that probably means i'll have it again by the end of the week and i'll have more pics for ya'll/
at this point the box is mounted, and i have constructed about 1/2 of the cosmetic 1/2" covering. I've also recently finished up my kickpanels and my screen bezel is finished as well. Those two things are primered and the box is just mdf. I'll be leaving it like that in all three cases until spring when its getting professionally airbrushed.
