Add our 2013 Explorer to the list. We may have 2 leaks - near the front and also behind the rear driver tire. For those that have cut away the silver heat barrier, what did you replace it with? I'm considering both alumbond and ACS' rear line set.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to find a positive battery terminal/connector? I'm kicking myself for letting it get this bad. The part number looks like BB5T-14A003-CA, but not having much luck when searching for it.

720-04-01 xx9x xxxx xxzz - without having the expy nearby, can someone give this a try for temperature reading on the Infotainment Display? Besides remote start, it's the only digit that's different from my as-built data. xx1x is stock. It seems like our expy has it enabled, just never noticed...

For 720-02-01, I see this on several different models: 0309 0700 3D (including checksum). I don't know that 4D85 BC50 1E26 would work on 2011-2015MY since it's missing two digits?

I wonder if it's just a partial of the entire line. I'll look tomorrow at what I have for 720-02-01.

Thanks, I probably will be changing back both EQ settings. Something I noticed is that the Base Expy has smaller APIM data strings than other models. So the values in the spreadsheet may not apply to those models.

So after testing, I don't hear much of a difference with the radio module (ACM) EQ testing, but maybe a slight advantage with it set to 9. Hopefully you guys hear a difference. For the Sync II branding, I think C is not a valid option - I noticed a DTC on the APIM module that is no longer active...

I added these, thanks. FYI on the first, I see 0842 from the factory and on the second I see 9000. I believe the it's only the second digit (in the second data set) that matters.

Last night I tried 8 for Lincoln and it worked for me. I believe C just loads Sync without a Ford or Lincoln logo/startup sequence. I haven't tested TMC. I can't remember if I tried NAV cameras, I will check again.

@sheltonfilms do you have your own list or spreadsheet of changes? It looks like Platinum's spreadsheet don't necessarily apply to 2013's.

Good point. Now that I think about it, when the dealership enabled remote start, I believe he did configure some climate control settings for remote start. I may have to dig around and see if I can correlate the changes.

Glad I found this thread - we've been having issues with ours ever since we bought it used. Sometimes the code would work first try, other times it would take more than 5 tries. Same with the locking combination.

FYI, my issue was resolved by replacing the throttle body. Hope this helps others.

Thanks all, I was able to get the remote start installed on our 2013 XLT. So nice to have it in this Texas heat. But it does bring up a small issue; when I have the climate settings set to Auto, the back vents are forced closed by the amount of air getting pushed. Has anyone run across this...
