Do you know the part number for the HD radio acm and where I could get it? Thanks!

I have HD radio on my 2013 Limited:

Part number: DB5T-19C107-GC
Strategy : DB5T-14D099-GC
Calibration: DB5T-14D100-LA

So I've been comparing data and for whatever reason I have one setting that am unsure of why it is different than stock. Anyone happen to have any info on this besides it being IPC? I've pulled a bunch of VINS and used As-Built Compare, but so far no luck.
Address: 720-04-01
Original: 3018 0000 0074
Current: 3098 0000 00F4
(last two being checksum)

So the mask is: xxXx xxxx xxxx
(or bit index/position 8)

Could be a user defined setting. Some As Built Data is changed by the user in the settings of the instrument cluster. If you turn something on or off in the cluster like say climate control when using remote start it can change the as built data.

Good point. Now that I think about it, when the dealership enabled remote start, I believe he did configure some climate control settings for remote start. I may have to dig around and see if I can correlate the changes.

There is pats access now. I found the thread that goes over how to do it.

Did you succeed in programming a key? I have the latest version 2.3.7, and I just looked again, and don't see anything that allows PATS access. The only thread I can find only covers 2010 and earlier.

Thank you! Do you know if there were any HD Radio improvements or changes with the different model years?

Also, how did you pull up the part number? I couldn't find the part numbers searching it up on the ford parts website. Inputting the numbers on the ford parts website doesn't pull it up either.

Thank you! Do you know if there were any HD Radio improvements or changes with the different model years? Seem like the part number changes for every year.

I'm interested in this as well but, I got nothing from this part number at Ford Parts. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and looking in the wrong place?

I'm having the same issue here as well. I'm wondering how Sheltonfilms pulled up the part number.

It's not the Forscan software that is the issue. Its that most vehicles after 2012 have a new type of CODED access to PATS. This new method has no free incode/outcode calculators online (yet).

If the vehicle can be TIMED accessed you maybe to program it. According to the Forscan team, if there is an information request thats says "TIMED" method somewhere in the log files then it maybe possible.

Forscan pulls all Part #s, Hardware #s, Software versions, etc. from the CU in your vehicle.

Unable to find them on other parts site either (AutoNation & Levittown).

Ah, I see. Ford part numbers are usually rather strung out and this part number is probably missing some content. In other words, the part number you show is incomplete as there is probably additional letters/numbers that come before it.

I was mistaken. Reading the forum, someone was asking about it on a 13 and I took it as they did it on a 13.

Where are you getting that this number is not fully there?

I'm pretty sure the part number he provided is the full part number. However, I think Ford is smart in not providing publicly the ACM module part numbers so people don't know what is the difference. To get the ACM, you actually need to sign a form apparently as quoted from the Ford website: "Human Machine Interface 4 ; HD Radio Broadcast; Order From Audio/Multimedia Center Online Ordering System Using The Online 1878 Form, Audio Control Module (ACM)"

I couldn't either, but there are 3 used ones on eBay.

Pure speculation on my part. If this is the part number, the answer for not being able to link it maybe in the quote below.

I did see the reference to the form when I looked up the ACM but, thought nothing of it. Now, it seems that the form is the key to getting any info or the part itself. I just got off the phone with my local Ford parts and they said they didn't deal in the entertainment systems for replacement or upgrades and referred me to a place that may have what I'm/we are looking for. the gentleman told I talked to then referred me to a company called 'Rostra' and their site, Rostra.com. I went into it and found no reference to ACMs and their vehicle search had no reference to Explorers of any year. Regardless, I emailed them with an inquiry into this and I will post their answer when I get it.

ACM with HD:

2011MY:
ID BB5T-19C107-CG
ID BB5T-19C107-CR
ID BB5T-19C107-CS

2012MY:
ID EB5T-19C107-CA
ID EB5T-19C107-CB
ID EB5T-19C107-CC

2013MY:
same as 2012MY plus
ID EB5T-19C107-GA thru GD

2014MY:
ID EB5T-19C107-CA
ID EB5T-19C107-CB
ID EB5T-19C107-FA
ID EB5T-19C107-JA

2015MY:
ID EB5T-19C107-JA
ID EB5T-19C107-JB

2016MY+ litle bit different part number, but I guess it is the same as 2011-2015MY except that all ACM units have no mention about HD (maybe they are all HD now)
ID GB5T-19C107-XX, where XX five different combinations

So looking at my .ab file, I currently have a DB5T-19C107-DE radio (2013 XLT, Sync 2 w/ NAV/Sirius). Replacing the ACM, for example, with an EB5T-19C107-GA would work as it is today (NAV/Sirius) plus HD features (after making configuration changes to ACM/APIM), even though I don't have Sony sound. Am I correct?

He did replace the ACM and I reprogrammed it and turned it on in the APIM.
Is it possible to program the ACM using FORScan?

Well, guessing [1878] form is a security requirement when ordering the ACM. They probably want to ensure that you own a Ford that has this type of ACM. Again, just me speculating. At any rate, it sure seems to be a mysterious process. They also want just under $800.00 for a unit that has HD. For that price, I can live without it. However, if they have a swap program which allows you to swap your current ACM with the 'upgrade', the price may be much lower. All I know is, information on anything about this seems very fleeting and may require a face to face to get to the bottom of it. This is really turning into something not worth my time. HD ain't that important.

I just did HD radio on a buddy's car today. You do not need any additional hardware for remote start on an Explorer. Just a new IKT.

Ok, Your friend replaced the ACM. Can you ask him the process at which he got the new ACM and what he paid for it because for just the upgrade to HD, doesn't seem worth the price. Oh, I already have remote start so, I don't know how that ties into a new ACM.

Also, I just got off the phone with Ford parts, local dealer and he could not confirm that the replacement would have the same connections as the new one and that a new ACM would be sold 'as is' with no guarantee that it would work. Aside from the form being submitted, they get these ACMs from an outside source that makes it seem like they are a 'skunk works' and it is required that you have your old unit to turn in, in order to get the replacement. That would suggest that your Ex would be 'down for the count' until the replacement arrived. All in all, this is turning into something that just ain't worth it.
