Any1 else have body lean to the left?

I have had this problem for the last two years, but I just got it repaired. The problem was that the drivers side torsion bar got tweeked while I was off-roading. So, when I repaired the ball joints, I also re-torqued the torsion bars and it ride level now.

Sway Bar on my 1995 Ford Explorer Limited??!

I have a '95 XLT in the Willow Green color. I added a front sway bar to my Exploder after I lifted it and it helped reduce the sway during highway driving and the high cross-winds here. I remove it for off-road driving to let the vehicle use the suspension to it's max. I do notice a huge...

    Firestone: Anybody get reimbursed yet?

You can and should definitely send the letter in that your tires were the ones that were recalled. I had my tires replaced at a Big-O dealer and they wrote on the receipt that my tires were the correct number that was recalled and that the new tires I bought were 31" Duelers. I made copies of...

    Firestone: Anybody get reimbursed yet?

Hi Everybody! I sent in my paperwork and all the proper info for the reimbursement and they turned me down. I replaced my Firestones with Bridgestone Dueler At's. They sent me back a 4-page form letter of apology and why they felt my tires shouldn't be replaced. But, I had two Explorers for my...

Explorer Friends, I need you help

Thank you, I haven't checked that area yet. Is it possible that it could be my ball-joints? Has anybody else had ball-joint troubles?

Explorer Friends, I need you help

Great thoughts! Ricardo, my problem is along the same issue. It is only noticeable when pulling into my driveway(Utah driveway), going over potholes or smaller bumps. When I was on the trail, I was in 4-low and rock climbing...I never really heard the rattle. But on the road with the smaller...

Explorer Friends, I need you help

Thanks for your input. I've checked the sway bar and it's OK, but I need to look into the shocks and the torsion bars. It could definitely be the bushings, I haven't replaced those since I bought the explorer. Thanks again!

Explorer Friends, I need you help

I'm having some problems with my 95 Exploder. After my last off-road trip, I came home with a new rattle. Something is rattling when the explorer rolls over larger bumps. It is a sound like when the brakes are walking. I replaced the brakes(all 4), the u-joints, the 4-wheel driveline and...

    Firestone

So, today I called the Firestone people here in Salt Lake City and they told me that only the 235-70-15's have been recalled and so my tires aren't affected. Has anybody else heard differently on this matter. I have a '95 Explorer with 31x10.50x15's and a '96 Sport with 265-70-16's(I believe)...

    Firestone Recall

I've had my Firestone Firehawk ATX's for nearly 4 years(65K miles). They've been great, but since they no longer make them, I went with the Bridgestone Dueler AT's. I've had the Explorer out in the high Uinta's and they have been excellent. Good thing I kept my old Firestones, because maybe...
