I drove the car in the snow today, probably used the starter 7 or 8 times. Now the battery has died, if my starter was on the way out, would it be using more power? Could that be the extra drain on the battery? Anyone have any ideas?

Was able to move the largest cable connected to the starter, I figure I will tighten both up when I get the chance. Then maybe leave it a while ans see if I really need to replace the starter
