When you are on the throttle hard there is very little engine vacuum to control the vacuum servos. Check your hoses for deterioration. Check the elbow by the power brake booster and any caps on the vacuum tree on your intake manifold.
It's not an easy platform to lift. The independent rear suspension made suspension lifts all but impossible. Body lifts, and coil spacers are available. I have seen some pretty radical 3rd and 4th gens though. They were modified for racing with coil over shocks front and rear. Not much...
