Does it blow at different speeds like it used to? If not could be your blower motor resistor mine went out and all the speeds were WAY slower than before.

It is a Dorman part dont remember the part number, but I got mine at Autzone, you cut the line off past the connection and then splice in the new line and connector and off you go.

I cut mine off and and went and got the repair kit from autozone, when I got it off and could see down inside one of the pins was damaged, so it was not gonna come off. If the pins arent damaged it should just pop off with the right tool. The new one pops off with zero force, tool slides down...

In Tx you can take it to an inspection station and they will usually test it for free, as that is part if the inspection test in major metro areas. Other than that just purchasing another one to see if code goes away/

+1 that is what I am doing, replacing the lower, the lower seal, the water neck seal and the o-ring, figure it is just insurance and I will already have it off.

the first p0300 is random misfire, the p0304 is cylinder 4 misfire, check your wires-plugs. the p0500 is a variable speed sensor code, not sure on the 600 code, I think it is a communication error of some type.

Well the P0455 code is for a possible bad gas cap so fuel system cleaner wouldn't help that. The other p0174 could be a MAF or just a vacuum leak behind the MAF sensor P0136 could be a bad o2 sensor. Good Luck

Actually P0316 is a misfire in the first 1000 rpm, not sure what it could mean but a start at least.

i had the same problem with mine. First make sure that the remotes are transmitting a frequency. I know around here Autozone has a thing to test them. Once I found out that they were transmitting it actually took about 5 times before I could reprogram them. They both work now. Good Luck

Have you had it checked to see if there are any pending codes? Any auto parts store can do it. Some rent the tool to do at the house as well. Not much help I know but maybe get you started in the right direction.

I got the hub and bearing form autozone for 144, they charged me 40 to press out and back in

Did mine this morning, actually took me longer to find a shop to press the bearing than anything else.Had to replace the hub as well since it was fused to the bearing. I used an impact wrench which made short work of the nuts and bolts sections of this. Great big THANK YOU for the write-up...

Check an Autozone , they have a new machine that can pull the brake codes for you. Wish they had it when mine went out.

If you have an Autozone nearby, they have new code readers that can read ABS codes. They have to have the new readers, not all of them have them yet.

Sorry I wasn't more clear, when I had to replace my battery, it was out of the vehicle for over an hour, so the computer lost all memory and had to relearn everything. Kinda like when you disconnect to reset a check engine light. Hope it helps because that is the only time I had to reset mine.

the last time I had to reset mine was after replacing my battery, I also dont have the reset button you refer to. If I remember right you have to drive in a circle for a few minutes for it to reset the directions.

I would think it depends on the amount of miles you drive and how small the leak is.

I work at an auto parts store and have seen this a couple of times with the Bosch but not sure what causes it. Might see if swapping them sides does any good if only on one side, if not go back and see if they wont trade them out for another brand or set.

pulling it out does make it easier to work on, but I would think you can do it in the engine bay

There is a place in New Jersey, I got one for my wifes 06 EX from www.certifit.com for $30 in black, electric and heated mirror. I found the replacement instructions on the forum somewhere, was step by step with pics. It was real easy and only took about 15 minutes to do the job.

the 02 is the 4.6 flex, the 06 is the 4.6 regular, both 2wd. everything is stock on both vehicles, not sure of tranny or rearend gears

I think the water spots are under the wax that is on the truck, try washing it with dish detergent to strip all the wax off, then use the clay bar, and then apply a new layer of wax. Just my 2 cents

If you are in an accident it will shut off your fuel pump so that it does not keep pumping fuel and possibly start a fire. You just push the button to reset the fuel pump.
