One issue of major concern is making sure it all seals real well. Fumes, moisture stuff like that are things you don't want creaping inside your Ex. It sounds like a lot of work, but why the heck not ?

Yeah the sending unit is the ground. It is a shock to me that Perma-Cool would sell a tranny temp guage where the lowest reading ( 140 ) isn't a operating tempture. I guess I need to hunt down a lower reading guage ?

If you have a compressor avalible that is a HUGE help. I used an impact for just about all the fasteners. If you can nab some swivel sockets you'll be golden.
