    Turned 69,000 miles in 2012 XLT and 1st Dealer Visit

    Just took my 12 XLT into the dealership (Downtown Ford in Sacramento) as well. 68,300 miles in 25 months - time for new brakes (still has originals), new tires (also original) and the 60k service. Winter (and snow) is coming, so I figured this was a good time to get this stuff taken care of...

    I had this happen to my 2012 XLT three times this weekend when my wife and I were driving back from the Coast. I've also noticed the low power accelleration (thought it was just me). Guess I'll be calling the service department tomorrow. Is there a TSB to reference?

    2013 Explorer Accident, Rearended By 30T MAC Dump

    Ouch! Glad to see you and your wife are ok (probably have a bit of a headache?). Great to know that the Explorer held up so well. Was the truck driver just not paying attention?
