Well this is the kit I found for the explorer on summit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRA-PA-792/ I assume If I went with the kit I would not need shackles? Personally to someone with limited mechanical experience and a small garage what would be better for me the TT and shackles or...

I've got a 2door and heard that the SUV/Performance requires you to replace some parts of piping is this true? Because im not really setup for that, if its just a swap with the old muffler I can probably do that but pipes would be an issue.

Awesome post, but I like the dents and dings on my truck it lets others know to get the hell out of the way when I'm barreling down the highway, not to mention it sounds like a really big motorcycle..... a motorcycle disintegrating as I drive it HA.

Just wondering especially for the Show Truck guys out there, besides daily cleaning and storage how do you guys protect from rust namely in the space around the wheels and the vitals underneath. I've heard from some that you can find a rust protection spray and get that applied or do it yourself...

Would a body lift or suspension lift do the same in terms of giving me clearance for light off roading. If not which one would be better to go with? Sorry if this seems like a beginner question, just got this Explorer and honestly its the first vehicle I've ever modded, besides sound systems.
