    Why do all the wheel spacers I can find say "Do not use on trucks"? Is it just a liability thing, or is there a legitamite problem?

    Like I said in my other post, sorry. I was trying to delete it but couldn't. Anyways, any guess what size spacer I'll need? From what I can tell trying to do the math it looks like 1/4" will be good. Is that right? Is there any advantage to the $50 custom spacers vs. the $10 'universal'...

    Hi, I'm new here, so bare with me... My gf just bought a 02 explorer sport trac that has aftermarket wheels on it. The wheels are 16x8 with +35 offset. The tires are 255x70R16. The tires are rubbing on the sway bar when she turns and the driver side tire is rubbing on the upper control arm...
