    Valve Train Explosion

Only run filters that have the anti drain back feature. WIX, Amsoil, and Motorcraft is what I suggest. If you're doing an engine clean, then I wouldn't waste my money on an expensive filter. I'm not running an anti drain back right now because I recently put in a used engine and have some...

    Valve Train Explosion

I'm in South Louisiana. It's easy to find used engines here. I mean, I only paid $100 for my Explorer with only 112,000 miles on it. Facebook Marketplace is probably the best place to look for used engines. A lot of times they even give a 30 day warranty. It's not much of a warranty, but what do...

    Valve Train Explosion

I would look on Facebook Marketplace. They have shops out there that pull engines and sell them. I found a low mileage engine that had the timing job recently done for $500. Oil Level Sensor Bypass

That's exactly what I did. I can't tell if it's showing a notification because the notification panel on the center console isn't working. I'm going to fix it today and see if it shows low oil or not. Thanks for the help!

    Oil Level Sensor Bypass

It's a 3 wire sensor. I believe it grounds out whenever the oil level is low.

    Oil Level Sensor Bypass

Does anyone here know how to bypass the oil level sensor? I have a '99 Eddie Bauer 4.0L. I just changed out the engine with one out of a '99 XLT and the oil pan doesn't have the sensor in it and it doesn't even have a spot to put one. I really don't feel like pulling the pan now that I'm...
