Post your WTB Aerostar parts here.

I will (reluctantly) try eBay. LOL. Tousley doesn't seem to have anything that isn't a current Ford product in their list of models. (No Astar, Ranger, Crown Vic, etc...)

Post your WTB Aerostar parts here.

No, sir, have not found what I need yet. I'm looking for a bumper cover, though, not a door latch.

Post your WTB Aerostar parts here.

Driver side rear bumper ext for Aerostar I'm striking out trying to find the rear bumper extension for my 93 extended A-star. Does anybody have one they are parting out? Or know of a REPUTABLE website to order from? These things must be like gold among the Aerostar community as so many of...

1995 Aerostar XLT. There is a clicking noise in the front & rear.

Could it also be tie rod bushings since it happens when he turns?

    Speed sensor frustration.

If I've overlooked the answer to this somewhere, I apologize. But I've searched this forum and others online and just can't get the answer I need. I am trying to locate the speed sensor to replace it, hoping that will fix the wildly crazy speedo needle. Have already replaced the sensor on...

Tips wanted for diagnosing an intermittent CEL.

I've got a 93 Astar with a CEL that comes on and goes off randomly. Any tips on how to diagnose that? Doesn't the CEL need to be on to pull a code with a scanner? The only thing I can think of is to drive around with the scanner and pull over immediately. It doesn't come on at idle and...

How many people own or have owned an Aerostar?

My parents owned an 86 and an 89 back in the 80's. Just recently purchased a 93 XL extended with 3.0L. Has 131K on it. Got it out of a guy's storage basically. Put a new tranny front pump seal in it, changed oil, belts, hoses. Runs great! Needs AC looked at, but other than that, its a nice...

    Howdy from Texas

Thank y'all! I took the plunge and bought the 93 Aerostar last night. I am pretty sure I can dig up a pic or two of the 86 and 89. My family bought the 86 in 1987 and the 89 in 1989, so I will have to check the boxes of pictures. Great memories in both of those.

Concern about the A/C system in a 1993 Aerostar.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did buy it last night because it ran so well, has had this second owner since 1995 and 20k miles, and got it for $700 with 131k miles. I figured the AC gamble was worth it. I will check out what you suggested this weekend.

    Howdy from Texas

Hey, I just found this site today on Google. I'm looking at buying a 93 Aerostretch and came here to read up on them. My family owned two when I was younger - an 86 and an 89. We enjoyed them and I hoped to find one, cheap, to haul my tribe around in. I'm in the Dallas area, too. Thanks!

Concern about the A/C system in a 1993 Aerostar.

Hey everybody. (Welcome post over in the New Member Forum) I am looking at a 93 Aerostar and found this message board while doing research. Its got 131k miles, 3.0L, stretch, and the guy wants $900 for it. Problem is the AC is out. I've searched on this board and read some horror stories...
