I take it the company did not save your stock file. We try to always have the stock file on backup just for this situation or if device gets stolen. But if they do not have it they should still have a stock file to put in. I would see if they have someone else's stock tune for you. Hopefully...

Did you have a tune on it. Reason I ask is because they are the same motor and platform all hp ratings are the same. Now maybe you are feeling more torque management in a newer vehicle.

Yes you need a suspension upgrade. Also not sure if you have a sport or platinum but lowering springs make it handle way better also. But usually around 85k you need struts and shocks anyways.

Yes you are correct a little extra octane will pep up the tune a little more. And the higher the octane the better mileage you will get also. It will add timing if it shows more octane.

Ya I'm not sure what your current tune puts down on explorer. I can tell you ours picks up around 70awhp usually from a stock tune plus 90 ft lbs of torque. So you have to decide what is worth it for the gains you may see. Just let me know if any thing else I can help you with.

Yes a lot of my customers in the Texas Arizona area's have a low fuel octane even then what it says sometimes. So even though there pump says 91 octane we have to give them an 89 tune because of poor fuel quality.

Well some people don't even have 91 octane in their area so I agree you should run premium it is better for the car. You will get better miles per gallon and more power but some people get limited to local resources.

The higher the octane the higher the horsepower so yes they advertise it with 93 octane. Yes running 94 octane you will see a slight increase in performance. The tune will pick up timing when it has more octane up to a few degrees.

Yes no need to trade in your device unless it is just to data log. The tune file is the same we would never keep our latest version tune from any of our current customers no matter what device you have. Thanks again everyone

I believe the only real reason they use the smaller sidewall for the police unit is to handle corners better.
