2" ext. shocks?
i tried using stock shocks but they were 2 inches too short, ended up having to go with stud extenders and my old KYB's till i can get some 3 inch ext. ranchos. the truck has settled slightly, overall lift is 2.5" in the front and 3.0" in the back. Im debating on putting spacers under the...- Four0Sport

2" ext. shocks?
well i picked up my vehicle and when i got to work i grabbed a factory shock and put it on the lower stud to see how much longer of a shock i would need. i need at least 2.5 inches longer of a shock for it to work. i dont know what coils roughcountry sent me but they for sure are not 1.5"...- Four0Sport

2" ext. shocks?
from the research ive done they look to be the same basic design, just longer. I am going to order them in at work so i can do a side by side comparison. the only thing im worried about is the ends are wider for the 3/4 ton sway bar. but as soon as i get one in i can let every know for sure.- Four0Sport

3.27 overdrive and gas mileage
to throw in my 2 cents.. alot of 'fuel economy' ratings and personal results will differ between our vehicles depending on where we live and how we drive. you guys out there getting 18, 20+ mpg, i envy you. my 4.0L averages 12-14 mpg while my 5.0L averages 15-17 mpg. Exploder ?'s
my 4.0 threw the same codes yours did. although my symptons were a little worse. vehicle would run relatively fine at idle, you could rev the motor slightly and as it idled back down it would bog out and shut off. driving wise it would run fine for a while, then start shifting erratically and...- Four0Sport

After market brakes... Gauging interest.
I do agree that 91-94 explorers dont have the best front brake setup but most people are running on factory rotors and calipers till and these new parts along with a good brake fluid flush dramatically improves your stopping power. some questions that rose up when i read your post though.. im...- Four0Sport

Can it run on 5?
number 3 plug isnt that bad to get to if you cut the wheels all the way to the left, reach in behind the skirt on the inner fender and position yourself where you can see the plug. its actually quite easy then. first thing i would do is pull that wire off, get a pair of needlenose, and gently...- Four0Sport

yeah it does look good with the lift, only bad thing is i think they sent me the 4" springs instead of the 1.5" leveling set. its not so bad though, i love the height i have now. 1990 B2 diff. compatability?
My sister retired her bronco II, cracked head and bottom end knock, and while im sitting here trying to figure out the cheapest way to get 3.73s for my explorer i walk down and look at the tag on the bronco's driver door and find code 44 for axle, 3.73 gear ratio. 2" ext. coils and i need drop brackets?

the only problem i can imagine you having is the 2nd gen console forms to the shape of the lower dash, but in a 1st gen this is where the ash tray is. you could get it to work, possibly lose the ash tray.- Four0Sport
