Got some more done today. No pics right now. I changed the passenger side ball joint and control arm bushings. Re sealed and installed the oil cooler assembly. New outer tie rods. Reinstalled the power steering hoses to the rack. Installed spark plugs, My buddy loomed all the plug wires together...- SuperGordo

This truck does have the oil cooler from the factory. Working on finding some replacement O rings for that thing. No signs of internal leakage at this time.- SuperGordo

Now I'm trying to figure out the order of operations for all the little stuff. Thinking of all the things that are easier while the engine is up. Upper control arms? Spark plugs and wires. I bought motor mounts but the ones on there don't look bad. But I'll probably take them off for a close up...- SuperGordo

Everything is ready to reassemble. When I opened the timing chain, it was more used than the one I took off the EX. Little auto parts internal switcheroo. So as soon as I get the parts together reassemble it all. Be back together tomorrow.- SuperGordo

Problem here in Vegas is that 9 out of 10 EXs have the same paint burning. And come to think of it, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a second gen EX in this grey. Interesting point.- SuperGordo

All good points. I was on the fence a day ago about whether or not to do the water pump and timing chain. Now I'm glad that I did. In fact there was one broken long bolt. the head was broken off before I got there. Another long bolt wasn't even screwed in all the way. Had 1/2" between the bolt...- SuperGordo
