Something is draining my battery and it is not the altenator.
Caution is advisable here, as mis-steps using a series-wired ammeter can instantly destroy it. Use highest range setting first, make sure no one messes around with lights, etc.- imp

AWD converted to 2wd
@Travis8916 Is something malfunctioning? Why would you want to do this? Ford's AWD design is one of their better systems. 2006 explorer front drive shaft cv needs replacing
The CV is a welded assembly affixed to the rear (t-case) end of the front shaft. Thus, a "partial guts" ineffective) replacement only is possible. Mine has 170K on it, still OK.- imp

Which transmission cooler line is the feed line?
Granted, heat transfer is SLIGHTLY affected by top or bottom entry into the radiator, and logic would dictate since HOT coolant enters the top, and lingers there, I think I would prefer entering hot trans fluid from the bottom, where it is cooler. The difference is actually pretty negligible; if...- imp

Rear Diff CV Shaft Seal
@RichCresci Seals can also leak around their OD (Outside Diameter). This leakage is quite difficult to not vthinkn it originates from the seal rubber element. The brown **** in the images is aimed at positively sealing the OD with, like, an O-ring. Usually means a quality seal.- imp

O2 Sensors - How many? Where?
@BTR Have you looked for them? Location is in exhaust pipes, both sides of engine. Two per side, two exhaust pipes, one for each bank of cylinders on V-6. Ford Explorer Issues
@ZackaryOX TMI. First, there are a bunch of solenoids, so which one? Second, I missed whether or not you added brake fluid to your transmission, but if you did, the dozens of rubber sealing rings in clutches and on shafts will likely be destroyed. Third "stuck solenoid": rarely happens, quit...- imp

$80 to get to easier burn 5-6 qts. of oil to space-heat? That would buy a better-bet in good stove-oil. This is getting crazy. Most balk at spending a premium to get a GOOD, RELIABLE part, like Motorcraft, then piss money away on gimmicks! imp- imp

@shane10 As with any relatively obscure seller on the net, there is risk. Your description of the noise as well as metal build-up suggests, in my experience, the possibility of gear misalignment from age and wear. Such condition can often be "felt" with a fingertip on the top edges of the...- imp
