Oh trust me, I'm trying! Also trying to be smart and plan ahead, which was the point of the mazda for the mileage and such. Got plenty of time to have fun! That's one way to look at it! Lmao- DemonMudder

Yep, that was it, gotta get some myself I guess too. They had no luck with it, but not real sure how much they did, or if they tried turning it manually at all. So I'll be trying later, letting it soak least for a while, may try it again Thursday even to see, if it still doesn't then they'll be...- DemonMudder

Alright, as promised! Crank windows, a real old school stereo, a perfect headliner, seat needs work, carpet ain't too bad but could use work too (least a cleaning, whole truck needs it), but the lack of rust is surprising, and where there is rust, it's pretty much just surface and easier to fix...- DemonMudder

Yep! That I agree with! Though my girlfriend is helping gladly, not her favorite thing in the world, but she's learning she enjoys least helping me on things and learning some herself. Just got it home today too, much better than I expected it to be too, though the seized pistons will be fun...- DemonMudder

Well, we're back home, some title issues we're working out, we got one signature but it was a co-owner setup and they didn't think about it either. So she'll be at my work for a few days, but overall the drive went great! Suckers in much better shape than I expected, the bench seat definitely...- DemonMudder

Alright, not ran exactly how I wanted, just made it work in a way that's still safe enough to not be a fire hazard, but still work as intended. Which, as you can see, it does! Least by my guess it does, based on when I last drove it should be around that temp still- DemonMudder

Guess we'll see, probably just do it the old fashioned way and we'll just push it up, not like that lil' thing weighs much. My girlfriend will steer, while the owner, his son, and I all push.- DemonMudder

I like being prepared, too often do I act before I think, so usually when I can I try to be better, a bit smarter at least! Bringing two rigs is smart for sure! I'll see about grabbing my stands, not sure they'll fit under it though, maybe I'll just nab some cheap small stands if they're too...- DemonMudder

The trailer one I'll do eventually, but like I told fix, it's a rental so not today, haha! The double hitch I've never been sure how much I trusted, looked at that way, way back. We'll see how it is out there, may have a hill but doubt it based on how he talked. Definitely some other options but...- DemonMudder

Okay, so, late ask. What do ya think the odds are of being able to load the mazda onto the trailer via my winch? So I park the trailer in front of it, place some tire chalks and disconnect the trailer, turn my truck around and winch it up slowly? Rather than trying to push this sucker up it...- DemonMudder

And the leak is fixed, waited longer than I would have liked and got a lot of cleaning up underneath to do now, but gosh dang do those brakes work! Aw, oh well, things do happen! Still hoping I'll be able to make it, but making some funky financial decisions. Like you're getting rid of the dodge, and I'm buying a 40/yo mazda lol Still plan to fix the X and hopefully be done before if not I think the rado will be good enough to use, bit big...- DemonMudder

Just personal preference, toyo over Goodyear, Goodyear has been hit or miss with me. But, depends on what kind of use it'll see, doesn't work good for me but may work good for you! I also tend to like the toyo looks a bit more, but as said, that's just me, also intrigued in yours as well- DemonMudder

Tire size
But I mean to be fair, I would just do it all at once, just for the joy of it, seeing it go from stock to bigger all in one go, feels like a bigger jump that way, a bigger accomplishment, vs piecing it together, but that's just my two cents! You do what ya got to- DemonMudder

Tire size
I know some have been able to fit 31s at stock, but not 100% sure. I mean, you can also take the torsion bars and crank them I think a max of 3 full rotations before ya chance binding up the cv axles. So that would add some extra some extra lift temporarily if needed, the rear I wouldn't worry...- DemonMudder

Those are technically a hair smaller than the stock tires. Here's a size for the 17" like ya want, tire size is larger than stock, a 31x10.5", pretty much what I had but 1" shorter. So maybe that's what you'd prefer?- DemonMudder

That's right, the 16" wheels had the options for either a 235/70r16 or 255/70r16, both equal a 30" tire. So yeah, those are the stock size- DemonMudder

Tire size
The width isn't much more than it was, so that aspect should be alright, and that tire size should be okay. Trying to go larger may be a problem unless ya plan to lift it just slightly or want to cut. I had 265/75r16s on my '99 and they required just a slight bit of bumper trimming up front on a...- DemonMudder

The thought was to stick with something I'm familiar with, which the sohc does fall into, everything else besides a 350 or ls would be new territory for me lol Oh that won't be an issue, least not after a lil' while, I'll enjoy that V8 for the first bit but then I'll learn to take it easy like...- DemonMudder

So what're the thoughts of either 4.0 sohc or 302/305 swapping the B2000? Thought about a 5.3l or 5.7l too, but unless I find a really good deal on one or a good junkyard one, the first two are cheaper and easier to find. I mean, they should still get pretty decent mileage for the size of the...- DemonMudder
