Weber Time
Sorry I never checked back! Just randomly clicked back in my head! How'd that go? And yeah, still playing out my pros and cons of doing the weber along with my rebuild, or trying to find a kia fe3 to swap in since it bolts right up to our tranny. Plus ya go from carb to fuel injection that way...- DemonMudder

Figure it's worth a shot, going to just replace that, the mc, and the calipers just for the sake of age most likely. The total weight of mine i belive are a out 90lbs, the wheel ain't sold anymore but based on a 6 lug version being 34 lbs and the tire being 56 lbs, definitely makes a...- DemonMudder

And that wildwood costs too much for me lol We'll see, i know the calipers themselves were already pretty good, but figured if I could find a performance style mc that fits, maybe it would help some, heard a few things like old corvettes and camaros shared the same 1.062" bore, and I KNOW...- DemonMudder

Has to fit within my 16" wheels, but also, I just replaced the front ones with new drilled and slotted, hate to put them aside for a second set that's not going to help much more. Which is what I want, I want more brakes, want to be safe lol Guessing there's not much for it then, huh? Wonder if a master cylinder off something else could fit...like the master cylinder off a first gen silverado ('99-07 or whatever) fits on my '95 c1500 and it's an AMAZING upgrade, easily...- DemonMudder

Well, even having tranny issues of its own, the rado ceases to disappoint. Sad saying this is the fourth time that poor explorer has had to be towed somewhere. But she's home, now I just gotta crank her from time to time and wait on parts to come in. Anything yall recommend checking or doing...- DemonMudder

Good to know! Well, I tried checking the tuner and I can set like the mph of the shift, or set it off by a percent or something, can't remember now, but I can't set the ratios, so I'm screwed there. Alright, well, gonna try towing it home Monday, then I'm waiting for parts. Going to just try...- DemonMudder

I think my tuner can mess with the tranny gear ratio, what if I set gear 3 to a different value? Does anyone know what the original ratios should be? That way I can maybe try that?? Don't think it'll fix the reverse and neutral things but may help the slipping.- DemonMudder

Well, first test drive went pretty much great, but then got called into work though. Figured why not, take the sploder! Alright, fixed that, that red and seal were supposed to go on the other connector half, so they got stuck in there. Pliers ripped it out, placed it correctly, plugged in fine! Cleared the codes and so far they didn't return, but I didn't run the engine very long due to being late, I'll do some...- DemonMudder

Alright, well, I extended the wiring and replaced the wiring harness for the tps, which seems like it helped? It still gets close to dying, like very...- DemonMudder

Well, thanks to an 01 sport at the junkyard, found a set of adapters that work! So lines are hooked in! Funny enough, some of the others I grabbed to try, I think are the same as the ones i bought, last picture showing the old vs the brand new one.- DemonMudder

Okay, well, new fun: got the tranny line adapters for the radiator in and cool, they fit on the lines!...but they don't fit into the radiator. They're slightly too big to go in, so now I either have to re-tap that radiator, or put an adapter on an adapter which is a "fun" choice, but may run it...- DemonMudder

Okay, new battery in, cranked right up, sounded better too, but didn't run it very long due to being late and incredibly loud temporarily. @CDW6212R I can look, but don't think there's any issues, could a vacuum leak keep the throttle open like that? The tranny codes all have a chance of being low fluid, last I checked it was alright, but it may not have fully gotten cycled through to everything yet, especially since the truck...- DemonMudder

Where would you suggest being a primary source to check? Cause honestly I'm pretty darn sure I got it all. Okay, only codes I get ain't the reason for shutting off, but I got codes: p0755, p0743, and p0708. All transmission codes which throws me off some but any clues to that? So, weird things I've noticed. Mostly addressed here but I'll summarize, I had the zip tie on the throttle cable in the first video which I thought was the cause of the stuck holding rev after I let off the pedal. Nevermind, sounds like grey should be the ECT, the brown would be the IAT. Though also sounds like someone says one classifies as a switch and the other a sensor? Maybe? But as said, fhen I've got a connection there that's not plugged in, that brown one can no longer be plugfed in if I did put that in, so I'd assume that's not good?
