Tow hook install...add to the list of others
I like that Idea of cutting out the plate. I just put a wrench in there and used a socket on the bottom. But this way makes it a lot easier. I also on another explorer I had the F150 hooks the nuts were together with a plate so not needed to hold the bolt. Even the ones I bought on Amazon.- WormsExplorer

So I went out on the trails Sunday and had a great time. So far I am very happy with my Ex. Just need to redo the LS in the rear and get a Lunch Box locker up front. I am wondering though if I delete my Cats will I get a code or will my engine run different. Yes it has the O2 sensors after the...- WormsExplorer

It was the problem. I am really thinking of running this motor for a while and then get the OHV motor and put it in there. This one runs good but just not liking the timing chain issues. I will keep running her and just keep doing regular maint on her. Will see what happens as time goes on.- WormsExplorer

So I took the front Tensioner out and put it in the oil and primed it. Put it back in and now I do not hear the Slap. I hope that was what the problem was. Will drive it here in a little while to actually see what she does. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will last a while.- WormsExplorer

So I replaced my Tensioners and it sounds like it is worse. Is there something I am supposed to do to the tensioners before installing them? Right now till I get money I will not be driving her. This is what I have done so far. Changed oil to 10w30 Added Engine restore replaced Tensioners Now...- WormsExplorer
