February Run
I just changed my Jet chip for the new dual Apten, otherwise, I think we are road ready, or should that be off road ready? I can't put hooks on the fron due to the Limited's air dam so don't let me get in a spot where i would need it. Dreamr, you gotta be there. What is going on with...- Albino 94LTD

Chips and ICM's?
All a chip will do is change timing and fuel/air ratios and on later models with electronically controlled transmissions, it will alter the shifting for more performance. It attaches to a service port on the side of the OCM. Removal reverts your PCM to the stock settings. If you are getting...- Albino 94LTD

K&N Flat Filter / Cold Air Intake
It would be cheaper to buy the drop in K&N and drill out your air box with a hole saw and install some 4" dryer vent hose through the side wall of the engine compartment inot the area just behind the wheel well liner. That is where the cold air really is. These MAC and Ifab things pull the air...- Albino 94LTD

towing capacity on bumper
I towed a 16' Searay for a year with a ball on the bumper, no problem. the bumper is probably more sensitive to tounge weight than total pulled weight. A couple Wave runners should be a piece of cake.- Albino 94LTD

'91 Speedometer Issue
Mine started bouncing around like crazy at 70mph. I pulled it apart several times, lubed the cable and everything I could see that moved, no improvement. I finally bought an instrument cluster off EBay for $15 and switched out the speedo. The older Gen1 speedo's (with 10th's of a mile) are...- Albino 94LTD

Sulfury yellow deposits on a couple of plugs
Can you give me a little more detail? I don't really stomp on it that much, although going up the last part of I-90 to Snoqualmie Pass @ 70 does put me down in 3rd at about 3200rpm. I guess it is really not bad for 60,000?- Albino 94LTD

Sulfury yellow deposits on a couple of plugs
Hey mechanical genius' out there, I changed my plugs last night and found a small amount of sulfury yellow deposit on the two center cylinders. The Bosch platinum4's have been in the truck for about 4 years/60,000 miles. What would that indicate? if anything. The color has faded a litttle...- Albino 94LTD

HELP!!! Which taillight bulbs
Here's how I see it There are several ways to look at it. 1. You can just put them on and if you get stopped, claim ignorance, "I was so excited when I got them, I didn'd read the label. Can you let me off with a warning and I will put the stock ones back on tonite?" (that's what I said...- Albino 94LTD

HELP!!! Which taillight bulbs
Sure they can do what they want. I'm just saying it is a great way to start a conversation with a State Trooper and possibly shell out a $C note. Just trying to save someone some dough. I had that conversation last Friday morning, lucky for me it was just a warning.;)- Albino 94LTD

HELP!!! Which taillight bulbs
Guys, clear tail lights are illegal in all states! You MUST have RED reflex lenses on the side and back per FMVSS 108. Check this web site, it has the full text as well as explanations as to what is legal or not. also check out the Recall tab! http://fmvss108.tripod.com/fmvss108text.htm...- Albino 94LTD

February Run
Yes Coleman Dock is the ferry landing downtown. Once we are on the boat, we can go upstairs and meet on either end. We have an hour or so to chat and if we want to look at each others rig, we just go back to the car deck. So we will meet ON the boat, K?- Albino 94LTD

I use Restore every time. Seems to me that it quiets some of the valve train clatter. I also use Lucas oil stabilizer occasionally and once or twice a year, Duralube. Are your lights legal? The Feds say?
Unless they reflect RED with no internal illumination, they don't meet this standard and therefore are illegal. If they don't meet this standard, they can't have a DOT cert. throttle body spacers?

throttle body spacers?
Where did you find them? What is the bore? Price? aldive swears the spacer, along with many other mods combined, are the reason he gets 30+mpg from his Gen 2 X. how serious is this?!?
There is a small key between the bearing nut and teh spindle that you need to pull out before you can turn the bearing nut.
