if you had a choice of what stock driver drop transfer case you you could put on your rbv, what would it be? the reason i ask is, i recently got a job at a machine shop and can make an adapter:D. if there is one that every one would like to have. I'm also bored and want a new t case.:rolleyes:

my truck is a 93. the old manual ecm came from the same truck as the trans did. witch was a 92 and works fine in my truck now. was at pic n pull today and saw this so i grabbed it thinking it would work better. but it doesn't really work at all lol. so i guess my 93 explorer must be an early 93...

is there a difference between the 2? not sure what to search for on this one. the navajo i got the comp out of was a 93, and my explorer is a 93 aswell. i just put a 5 speed into it with the comp out of the same truck(wich was a 92) with the old comp it ran fine, but the new oon it just...

so its not a locker its a limetd slip. the side gears still wount work. if your 31 spline diff was an ls then it would work.

what locker is it? most dont have spider gears. so i would guess the spiders dont fit.

with a grinder anything can fit. :) cant remember who, but some one on hear did it with a dana 60.

but then you would have to use 28 spline shafts.

ya only real hard part is replacing the a-piller
