if you had a choice of what stock driver drop transfer case you you could put on your rbv, what would it be? the reason i ask is, i recently got a job at a machine shop and can make an adapter:D. if there is one that every one would like to have. my truck is a 93. the old manual ecm came from the same truck as the trans did. witch was a 92 and works fine in my truck now. was at pic n pull today and saw this so i grabbed it thinking it would work better. but it doesn't really work at all lol. so i guess my 93 explorer must be an early 93...- lifeguard379

is there a difference between the 2? not sure what to search for on this one. the navajo i got the comp out of was a 93, and my explorer is a 93 aswell. i just put a 5 speed into it with the comp out of the same truck(wich was a 92) with the old comp it ran fine, but the new oon it just...- lifeguard379

the bottom links for the controllers i would stay away from. the frist i have used, and they would burn up in about 2 months. the third one im useing now, and will last about 6 months.( im on my third :() go with the first. it has an ac overide. :) http://www.dccontrol.com/2sp.pdf- lifeguard379

8.8 31-28 spline part interchange
so its not a locker its a limetd slip. the side gears still wount work. if your 31 spline diff was an ls then it would work.- lifeguard379
