Screw the bypass pulley, mine caused the belt to fray. Get a Duralast 865K6 belt which works perfectly on a 5.0 without going around the ac compressor.- MAS Tequila

With the good - there is always bad. Looks like my transmission is TOAST
Just had my trans rebuilt a couple of months ago. It was running at 170-180 degrees, now it sits between 130-135, at the same time the coolant is 190. Butter that toast.- MAS Tequila

tires and regearing (this probably exists elsewhere)
With 275/70/18 tires I was ok until I pulled the bike trailer through the mountains. I’ll be swapping the trans within a month or so. The 3.73s are becoming 4.56s. That’s with the 5.0 and 4R70W.- MAS Tequila

AWD to 4x4 conversions
Same process but with wiring involved, and the electric change motor requires more room. I’ve done the manual shift case, but have no knowledge of the wiring involved with the electric. There was someone who worked on his for months trying to get the wiring to work correctly.- MAS Tequila

35" tires no body lift work with all the trimming?
I have 33s with torsion keys up front and Ranger one ton aftermarket springs, warrior shackles and coil over shocks. Giving me 2.5” of lift in the front and about 4” in the back. The fronts rub while turning into any sloped surface. 35s, good luck, you’re going to need it.- MAS Tequila

Project Vulture
A south FL sunrise. Yes you can run 33s with 3” of lift. Just 10 1/2s not 12 1/2s. I’ve had torsion keys in mine for 5-6 years with no issues. In the rear I have one ton ranger leaf springs with Warrior shackles and coil spring helper shocks. I got 4 1/2” that way.- MAS Tequila
