For your information. The door switches ( door ajar), exterior door handles switches, interior lights, etc go thru the GEM module. I connected a ohm meter too each input pair of wire on the GEM module too help me adjust the door strike on each door.

I did not remove the brake line the first time I had access. The factory line with the spiral wrap is a cancer, it take a little more time too remove it, but in the long run, its save you other problems.

Remove all rusted existing lines. Don't leave them in place. especially in the Frame rail

I would just go for the Dorman replacement. You will get your feet wet on the passenger side. And buy the driver side, too have in stock.
