    Help - Check Engine Light @ 43K 5.0

    My check engine light came on today. I have a '99 XLT 5.0 with 43K on it. Any ideas?????? Seems to run OK and all of the gauges are OK.

    Any advice for towing? Add a leaf?

    or try something else? I bugs me the way it squats when I tow. How much affect will it have on ride and handling? How do I tell if my X has the towing package? What about when I not towing, will it look to "jacked up"?
