    Help!!! wrong torque converter?

    I just changed the engine in my '94 Ranger 4wd 4.0L with a 4.0 from a '95 Ranger and it seems like the torque converter is too long, when I tighten the tranny bolts, I can't turn the crank, however if I loosen the tranny bolts the engine turns fine. Is there a difference in the two years? I know...
