1994x brakes- (seems one of the front ones) started scraping. There were no signs before, but I still expect that the whole front system will need to be replaced. Any advice on any component would be cool. Michael.

If you're on ice, what should you feel in the brake pedal? I got a clicky clicky thing, and some sound like a pump going. Is this right? The brakes seem to work fine-seems weird on ice though. Michael.

Should all the wheels spin in 4wd? It's getting close to winter again, and this is the only time I use it. Assume I have the wimpiest set up, 94xlt-- which I'm pretty sure I do.

Is it possible to wreck anything by shifting into 4-wheel high while moving? The manual says you can hit the button on the dash at speeds up to 50mph, but, I've heard that damage could still result. I'm on my 2nd trans now, so I don't want to risk wrecking something on this new one.
