    Starter won't crank

    I have an 03 Mountaineer I borrowed and today the starter failed to engage. I can hear a light thunk behind the dash when I turn the key all the way, but no solenoid click. Tried with shifter in neutral also. The light thunking occurs with the shifter in any of the positions, so I'm assuming an...
