Trying to get inside of dr. side mirror. Can only get as far as backing, I need to get inside. Mirror goes left and right not up and down.

Driver's side mirror will only move in and out (left to right) not up and down. Tried taking it apart,but only got to the back,can't see how to get inside the housing.Removed all visible screws but unit still seems sealed.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what to use in order to protect the computer when cleaning the engine???

Looking for suggestions on cleaning the engine and protecting the computer from getting wet. On my 94 it wasn't quite a problem but on my 99 the computer sticks out through the firewall?

I have a 94 EB and it's looking like I am going to have to replace the steering box. What am I looking at as far as removal and replacement goes??????

94 EB: Sudden "moaning" , followed by hard steering. Checked res. and fluid looks like it is boiling out the top. Tried filling and it sucked up the fluid and still acted like it was boiling over and steering was hard as hell. Iam thinking it was the steering box not the res.

Any ideas for a good replacement?

94 explorer Eddie. located on the driver's side of the block is a fitting setup, just above the pcv. It has vacuum lines connected to it. Now when then wife tried starting there was a puff of smoke, and when I looked at it one of the hoses was blown off. There is oil present on the fittings...

I have a problem from time to time with the truck starting after running. It acts like the batt. is dead. Now if I get a jump or let it sit for awhile it starts like nothing was wrong. This doesn't happen all the time; sometimes it will start 20 times a day for weeks.
