    2000 XLT Shift Knob Removal

    i bought a carbon fiber shift knob today for my truck. when i tried to take the shift knob off it fully came off the twist but it feels like there is a wire for the overdrive. i want to put on the new shift knob but i dont want to pull it off and rip the wire out(if there is even one in there)...
