    The Temp. Gauge read normal. The truck would heat up fairly quickly and heat was always running hot.

    Sorry, it was Bar's Head Gasket Repair, not Radiator Stop leak. http://www.barsproducts.com/1100.htm I also replaced the thermostat as well.

    I was thinking the samething, so this weekend I flushed my radiator and put a bottle of Bar's Radiator Stop Leak in. It said it would seal any head gasket leaks, as well as similar issues.     97 Explorer XLT AWD The driver side front makes a metal on metal thunk whenever going over a large bump, frontend suspension appears very loose however no visiable wear on any under carrriage componets. A leaking AC unit resulted in a constant engaging and disengaging of the AC clutch. ANNOYING!
