    Did either you or the shop disconnect the battery to reset the computer? Might try it for 10 minutes or so. Just an idea. :)

    I am experiencing the same problem with my 2000 XLT. No cargo lights, no power windows, . Am searching for a solution today. Will let you know if/when I find my fix. Update: (shamefaced) Did a battery disconnect,(10 + minutes), it appears I am back to normal.

    '95 XLT 308,000 and change. Rear end howl, front left cylinder head coolant leak, ("repaired" with sealer). Runs strong, sometime rough idle. This was my first EX.     I too have a '95, in checking the ford service manual, I find no mention of cycling solenoids. Hope this helps. Service manual is available on CD, at e-bay.

    95 Explorer. I'm having a problem pulling the codes.

    My ,95 XLT has a dummy obd2 plug under the steering wheel, like yours. The real test plug is located in the engine compartment, drivers side, in front of the fuse box. It is an obd1 ford interface...:)
