Anyone have any ideas? I am also having the same problem, except my trans fluid is good. Tries to move but will not. 4lo renders a little more movement of course but it does not go. It did it once before and it magically fixed itself, now it is stuck like it is.

Usually hard to tell. I say check the torsion bar adjustment bolts. After my TT my driver side bolt was almost all the way in. Passenger was a little bit further out.

Shocks are just one part. If you want a smoother ride you need a softer suspension. Put four door leaf springs on the rear. Put less stiff torsion bars up front. Remove the sway bar on the front to free the IFS, but that is not recommend if you drive fast or crazy like me.

I dont believe ABS affects the four wheel drive. My 98 Sport the TC would stop working and flash four high and low lights. I would park it and it would work fine. It has done a it a few times mostly after abusing it. I would call it a glitch.

I have the autozone shackles on my X and have not had a problem and I had wheeled it pretty hard. The bolt seems to be the issue. I have no worry about any flex in the shackle unless my entire rear axle kicks one way because the leafs are not going to flex sideways with three mounting points.

I just did 4door 4leaf pack with the cheap shackles from auto zone. Between the original sag to now I probably gained 4" and did a TT to level it out. I got my springs for $30 and shackles for $20. Just a warning that the upper shackle bolt will probably be stuck in the frame bushing.

I would still rotate the front to the back and see because belts break mostly due to impact, say from a pothole or railroad tracks that are really rough.

Vaccum leak maybe

Sounds like a bad sensor. Changes its mind when it warms up from the wheel bearing. You can pull a fuse or unhook the abs pump, that way you do not have a stopping problem.

Broken belt in a tire up front? Braking puts downward pressure on the front... Just making that up... have no idea for real but it sounds like it make sense.

Corrosion on the plug or just a bad sensor... I have had new sensors be bad before...
