    Don't you have to remove the cap when you attach it to transfer case?? or am I missing somthing, because the was no problem with the rear wheel drive when I took it apart.

    Hello all, I took of the rear drive shaft to replace the u-joints on the rear and front of the drive shaft, it is a two pice driveshaft with a steady bearing. I replaced the u-joints and when I went to put it back on there was balls that fell out of the transfur case and can't seem to get it...

    what would make rpms rise when truck starts to move in nutral with clutch out???

    still having truble with rpms, now I found that if i stop on a slite slope and let the truck come down to a low idel 900, then take foot of brake and let the truck coast the rpm will start ot rise to about 2500 and let it coast till it comes to a stop only then will the rpms come down to 900...

    The leak could be the head gasket, I don't think there is any water going through the intake mainfold. (just a thought) so you might have to replace the head gasket
