    Not getting fuel? hard to start

    I'm having the same problem with the starting issue. Starts great sometimes, other times no go. If I don't get it going initially, then immediately try again, it's a no go. Seems like a small wait time helps. I replaced the fuel filter but that hasn't helped.

    Auto Trans Gear Shifter out of Alignment.

    Great site!! I had this problem, started yesterday. Got on the web, googled to this site, and fixed the problem using the plastic tie as shown above. Took me less than an hour to fix! Thanks guys, great site!! I'm sure I'll be hanging out here a lot, since my truck is getting up in years...

    shift drive selector indicator

    Great Site!!! Yesterday I took my daughter to teach her how to drive, and in showing her how to "make sure" the car is in park before we got out to change drivers, I broke my shifter to where it was showing on "Drive" when the car was actually in Neutral, and so on with the rest of the gears...
