Limited is a '93 Model Mine was manufactured in May 1993, and it appears in the 1993 literature.

Takes a good part of a day I posted some time ago about dropping the tank to change the pump on my '93 - time consuming, but not extremely difficult - you'll have to remove skid plates, etc. If you do a search, you should find my post.

I would think I'd see something about it here, but you never know... Does the A4LD have any external band adjustments? The outside of the case looks like it does (on the driver side). If not, what are these nuts?

I read somewhere that it was possible to get to the modulator through the panel under the carpet - do you have to take the passenger seat out for this? My tranny's hesitating shifting out of first gear, I'd like to throw a modulator in it, or at least be able to get to it to check the vacuum...

Agree - locking ring should be about $10 at a Ford dealer. Mine was also very rusted - just try and knock it straight toward the center of the opening - don't try to hit it to make it spin around like it will actually unscrew. It will probably just pop loose that way. And of course, don't...
