alright i went to autozone today and they tested it and it was only putting 1 amp out. i think its a 95 amp alt. but now when i drive it, sometimes it may show great battery voltage and then in about 2 minitues later it would show about half voltage. help

my explorers throttle body at wot is wide open and it has never had a new throttle cable and it has over 400 thousand miles on it. this must just work on old explores. mines a 96 with the 4.0

i was just reading the general information section on the website u provided and it said it fits double sized dash openings which means double din. so it will fit ur mounty.

well the only car stereos sizes i know of are single din and double din. so if they both look like double din then most likely they will interchange.

whatever you do don't get a pyramid anything. have you looked up mtx amps yet on internet there pretty cheap and they pound. i got 2 kicker 15s in my xplorer with a 500 watt mtx amp that i paid $30 for on ebay and it makes them suck the roof in and out. mtx is the best bang for the buck.

just got a 5'' monster tach and ran the power and ground and illumination wire. but i cant figure out were the other wire goes. its supposed to go to a distributer wire but this is a distributerless motor. its in a 96 ford explorer 4.0. anyone know how to do this without a tach adapter?

make sure that the wires that run from each side of the sub run + to + and -to- do not mix match them and then run normal speaker wire up to one side of the sub and connect + to + and - to -. then run the other end of it to the amp.

how do you get the hand held door unlocker to work? i bought a new battery for the remote but it still would not work. it's a 96 ford explorer sport. all the door handles are shaved but the drivers door. and i don't want to leave my door unlocked when i go places. thanks!!!
