what are the steps to dropping this tranny out then installing it back in on a 91 4.0 4x4??

not yet. i will check before purchasing it. my guess is it would have high mileage. it does include a 90 day warranty however.

just curious to see how much on average it would cost to have a auto a4ld tranny rebuilt. just trying to get a rough estimate. i dont want to rebuild it myself and a used one is $350

My mazda navajo's a4ld tranny suddenly stopped working a couple nights ago. It wouldnt respond in any gear besides reverse. Today, i got it running in all gears except for overdrive. i bought the cheapest set of 4 from autozone all for $60. they make a big difference, my original fronts were useless before and it was so obvious when i took them off.

ya called a local junkyard. they would pull it for me for 350$.. that includes a 90 day warranty. have you put one in before yourself? is it a difficult job??
